Marshall Wang

Marshall Wang is a Ph.D. candidate in Statistics at North Carolina State University under Dr. Eric Laber. He has years of research experience in reinforcement learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence. As a former Intern of UCB Biosciences, Amazon Web Services and Amazon Alexa, Wang is adept at connecting academic research with real world applications, which is evidenced by him winning the Wells Fargo Campus Analytics Challenge. He is also the CEO of Ataristicians, a nonprofit organization that creates video games and cartoons to teach statistics to the general public. Wang will join the Conversation AI Team at Amazon Alexa as a Machine Learning Scientist this summer upon graduation.
