Mark Salter

Mark Salter is currently the Manager for Website Security Development at the Media Trust, where he deep dives into malware analysis, malware delivery and code obfuscation techniques used by attack servers. He also spends time building secure data systems, finding ways to thwart DDoS attacks and preventing system hacks with secure coding techniques. Salter earned his bachelor’s of science degree in biology from George Mason University and worked as a medical technician and volunteer firefighter. Soon his passion for technology took over and he found himself fighting against cybercriminals. For 16 years now, he been a part of software development and security teams in various industries including education, telecommunications, commercial real estate and the media.
