Maria Namestnikova

Maria is a graduate of Moscow State Pedagogical University. In 2008, she started working at Kaspersky Lab as a spam analyst. She was already interested in the issue of information security for children, and had taken part in a number of educational initiatives, and authored of more than a dozen articles on the topic. In 2012, she left the company to work on one of the largest Russian gaming projects, but in April 2015 she returned to Kaspersky Lab, to work as a web content analyst in the department that develops technologies for the company’s Parental Control component. Maria participates in Kaspersky Lab’s educational initiatives, educates teachers and students, and develops advice for all parties interested in the IT security of children.
