Mandy Andress

Mandy Andress is the Chief Information Security Officer at Elastic, a search company that builds self-managed and SaaS offerings for search, logging, security, and analytics. Prior to Elastic, she was the Information Security Officer at MassMutual, responsible for enterprise information risk and security.  She is a published author, with her book Surviving Security having two editions and used at multiple universities around the world as the textbook for foundational information security courses.  Mandy holds a Bachelor in Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University, a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University, and a Master’s in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University. She is a certified CISSP, CPA, and member of the Texas Bar.
