Manan Dalal
Assistant Chief Information Officer-Satellites (ACIO-S), NESDIS/NOAA
Manan Dalal serves as the Assistant Chief Information Officer-Satellites (ACIO-S) for the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Services (NESDIS). In this role, he is responsible for establishing cybersecurity policy and guidance across NOAA. Additionally, he serves as the Authorizing Official (AO) for all high systems within NESDIS. With over 20 years of experience in information technology, software engineering, cloud, and enterprise architecture, he has held various key roles. He previously served as the Deputy ACIO for NESDIS and the NESDIS Cloud Technical Director where he developed an enterprise cloud-agnostic end-to-end satellite ground capability. Earlier in his career, he worked as a software engineer, contributing to projects for the National Weather Service and NARA.
