Mal Smyth leads the Cyber security policy, control, and risk function at Vodafone – providing the clear direction to enable consistent improvements in security and risk management. Prior to Vodafone he held roles in banking and finance covering technology risk and major change programs. His current priorities are implementing adaptive, automated and risk-led cyber security, and building trust and Vodafone’s reputation through transparency with external stakeholders.
