LTC Henry Capello

Henry Capello serves as the Director of Information Services for the Stephenson Disaster Management Institute. Capello provides vision and oversight to SDMI’s cyber security initiatives and other disaster management programs. In addition, he is directly responsible for the development and integration of SDMI’s Enterprise-Geographic Information Systems (E-GIS) and responsive web/mobile applications, for use in field mapping, data collection, and disaster management. As Director of Information Services, he has facilitated agreements between the Louisiana National Guard, LA-SAFE, and the FBI to create a Joint Cyber Training Lab (JCTL). The JCTL includes a Cyber-Range where the Louisiana National Guard’s cyber-response team conduct their training. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Louisiana State University.
