Logan O’Shaughnessy serves as the Lead for Privacy Incident Management and Response at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In his role, O’Shaughnessy works extensively with the Department Privacy Incident Response Team and the Department’s eleven Operating Divisions to mitigate thousands of privacy incidents across the Department. He also works closely with the HHS Computer Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC), most notably in its efforts to implement the incident reporting changes promulgated by the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT). He holds Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)/Government (G) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certifications.
