Dr. Liam Mayron

Liam M. Mayron, PhD, CISSP is a Staff Product Manager for security products at Fastly. In industry, he has launched new enterprise and SaaS products in managed security, security services, cloud application security, and network security analytics domains. He was a Professor at the Florida Institute of Technology where he created a new graduate cybersecurity degree program. He received his PhD and BS degrees in computer engineering from Florida Atlantic University and his MS degree in the same field from the University of Florida. His PhD dissertation, “Image Retrieval Using Visual Attention”, developed a hybrid content-based, collaborative filtering query method for searching for images.
