Lauren McIlvenny

Lauren McIlvenny serves as the Technical Director of the CERT Division Threat Analysis Directorate within the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute (CMU SEI) and the Director of the Artificial Intelligence Security Incident Response Team (AISIRT). She leads a diverse team of cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence analysts, engineers, and researchers whose work span the AI security, malicious code analysis, vulnerability analysis, and threat intelligence domains with a focus on continually evolving these critical capabilities. She holds an MS in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Mathematics from Grove City College.
