Krystal Jackson is an Open Philanthropy Junior AI Fellow at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology at Georgetown University. Her work focuses on understanding the impacts of AI across areas of cybersecurity. She has an MS in information security policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College. She has worked on AI and public data projects as a public interest technology fellow with the Census Bureau and as a technology policy researcher for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Her work on AI and societal issues has been presented at INFORMS, and she has guest lectured to graduate students at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University on risk management, AI, equitable design practices, and technology ethics.
