Kristin Madigan

Kristin Madigan, a partner at Crowell & Moring, previously served as an attorney at the FTC in Washington, DC in the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Division of Privacy and Identity Protection. She led nonpublic investigations and prosecuted unfair and deceptive practices in privacy and data security matters. Her practice focuses on privacy and complex litigation disputes. Kristin regularly counsels clients on state and federal privacy laws in a range of contexts. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US). Kristin is vice-chair of the ABA Section of Science & Technology Law: Internet of Things, is on the San Francisco Bar Association Cybersecurity Section Board, and the Board of Governors of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers Northern California.
