Kevin Garvey

Kevin Garvey is a global cyber security leader and worldwide educator for professionals in the industry. Currently Kevin is the US IT Security Manager for an international bank responsible for overseeing incident response, vulnerability management, data loss prevention, and the security operations center (SOC). Previously, he worked at WarnerMedia (formerly Time Warner), JP Morgan, and New York Power Authority. Kevin teaches SANS Management 512: "Security Leadership Essentials for Managers". Kevin shows students how to be a top cyber security leader their teams and organizations can depend on to keep their companies secure. Kevin also created the "HR + Cybersecurity Webcast Series" with SANS to help HR departments learn the smartest ways to hire and retain top cyber security talent.
