Kevin Deeley was appointed Deputy Chief Information Officer for the Department of Justice (DOJ) in 2012. In this position, he manages internal operations, including policy, process and the successful delivery of applications, networks, security and data center services. Previously, Deeley served as DOJ’s Chief Information Security Officer, where he provided IT security compliance and oversight across all DOJ components, comprised of more than 240 systems and networks. Deeley has been recognized twice by Federal Computer Week’s Federal 100 and received four consecutive Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Outstanding SES Performance Awards (2009–2012), as well as the Vice President’s Hammer Award (1996) and the Department of Justice IT Security Implementation Award (1995).
