Kent Landfield is Chief Standards and Technology Policy Strategist at Trellix with 30+ years of software development, global operations and cybersecurity experience. Kent has been active in the development of the NIST Cybersecurity and Privacy Frameworks. At Intel, he co-authored the ‘The Cybersecurity Framework in Action: And Intel Use Case’. He co-authored the IETF’s RFC 7203, An Incident Object Description Exchange Format (IODEF) Extension for Structured Cybersecurity Information. Previously as Director of Content Strategy, Architecture and Standards for McAfee Labs, Kent was the Chief McAfee Labs Vulnerability Group Architect. Kent is a Founding member of CVE, an active Board member and CVE Strategic Planning WG Chair. He holds patents in DNS, Email and Software Patch Distribution.
