Ken Xie

Founder, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Executive Officer, Fortinet

A cybersecurity expert and entrepreneur, Xie founded three companies that have shaped the cybersecurity industry. NetScreen, later acquired by Juniper for $4Bn is recognized for the industry’s first ASIC for high-performance firewalls and VPNs. After Netscreen, Xie founded Fortinet, one of the top three cybersecurity companies worldwide. Fortinet’s broad portfolio of solutions protect 70 percent of the Fortune 100 as well as governments around the world. Xie earned an MS degree in electrical engineering from Stanford and BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University. Xie sits on the boards of the Cyber Threat Alliance and WEF’s Centre for Cybersecurity.
