Kemba focuses on cybersecurity law. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is responsible for cybersecurity, telecommunications, and infrastructure resilience. Ms. Walden negotiates complex data protection, information sharing, and risk mitigation agreements, supports her client’s efforts to promote appropriate cybersecurity risk management decisions in critical infrastructure sectors such as the financial, energy, and election sectors, and provides daily legal support to the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC), a cybersecurity operations center. Prior to CISA, Ms. Walden was the primary legal advisor to the DHS representative to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and worked on constitutional issues in connection with border searches involving technology.
