Kay Wakatake

Kay Wakatake is a seasoned attorney and authority on privacy, cybersecurity, and national security law. She serves as outside legal counsel to small businesses and start-up companies; Co-Editor of the US Intelligence Community Law Sourcebook; and Board Member on Armed Forces Insurance. Kay retired as a Colonel in the US Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps after 22 years of distinguished service on active duty, culminating as the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel for The Army Surgeon General. Corporate generalist with deep expertise in data privacy, cybersecurity, healthcare, corporate and government contracts, crisis management, etc, who serves as outside corporate counsel to various corporate clients and a board member of a private property and casualty insurance company.
