Katie Boeckl

Katie Boeckl is a Privacy Risk Strategist with the Privacy Engineering Program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). In this role, she works to advance international privacy standards, develops privacy risk management guidelines, and manages the Privacy Engineering Collaboration Space. At NIST, Boeckl has helped develop the NIST Privacy Framework, served on the joint task force working group for NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-37, Revision 2: Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems, worked to implement the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC), and contributed to NIST SP 800-63, revision 3: Digital Identity Guidelines.
