Junyan Guo is a Staff Software Engineer on Uber’s Engineering Security team. He leads development of Uber’s Kerberos infrastructure and contributes to AI Security & Compliance. A core builder of AI Guard—Uber’s orchestration and policy engine for securing LLMs, agents, and AI applications—he specializes in gateway integrations, parallel rail execution, and reliability/latency hardening across CPU/GPU models. He designed the platform’s shadow-mode rollout, observability, flagged-rate alerting, and partners closely with product teams to adopt guardrails in production.
