Joy Belinda Beland

Joy Beland, CISM SSAP served as the founder and CEO of a Los Angeles-based Managed Services Provider (MSP) firm for 21 years, focusing on security and risk consulting to hundreds of small businesses throughout Southern California. Beland sold her MSP practice in 2018 and spent two years with Continuum as a global professional instructor on cybersecurity fundamentals, training over 3,000 managed service providers. She joined Edwards Performance Solutions in 2020 as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant and Professional Instructor, currently managing the CMMC Training Program. Beland holds the SANS SSAP, Carnegie Mellon’s CEI Insider Threat Program Management and Vulnerability Assessment certificates, the CISM from ISACA, and the CMMC-AB Provisional Assessor and Provisional Instructor certs.
