Josie Long

Josie Long is a retired USCG officer with over 20 years of maritime and oil and natural gas experience. While on active duty with the USCG, Long co-authored three maritime specific NIST Cybersecurity Framework Profiles and contributed to significant cyber policy aimed at increasing cyber risk management for the MTS. Her previous work with the USCG and MITRE and current role with 1898 & Co. position her to provide expertise on current and future maritime cybersecurity policy and risk management. Long has a Masters of Arts in Public Policy and a Masters of Education in Performance and Change Management.
