Josiah is a Security Researcher at Trend Micro, applying AI techniques to security problems. He has 20 years of professional software development experience, hunting threats with AI for the last 10. Research includes data science on Domain Generating Algorithms, using ML to detect Exploit Kit landing pages in-line in IPS, building models for vulnerability prioritization, large scale clustering of malware, and extracting structured data from unstructured text. Current work focuses on risks of AI use and abuse.
