Jonathan Grier has performed security research, consulting, and investigation for over fifteen years. He has developed new security technology for DARPA, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, NIST, and the United States Air Force. Grier has provided training for the National Incident Response Team (NIRT) of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center. His work in digital forensics has been featured in the Journal of Digital Investigation, InformationWeek, Digital Forensics Magazine, and SC Magazine; and cited by Microsoft Press’s Writing Secure Code. He is a popular speaker at Black Hat, RSA, ACSAC, DFRWS, and other venues nationwide. SC Magazine has called Grier one “of the nation’s leading experts on insider threats.”
