Jon Murchinson

Jon is a seasoned public relations and communications executive with over 14 years experience in the field. As Vice President at Edelman he focuses on corporate and crisis communications. Previously he was senior manager in the global communications and public affairs department at Google where he oversaw communications for the founders and CEO, legal, financial, acquisitions and other issues. Prior to Google Jon was responsible for media relations for the Windows Product Marketing Group at Microsoft. Jon has served as a corporate spokesman for Microsoft and several financial institutions including Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank. In addition, he was an assistant press secretary to President Clinton at The White House and a spokesman for treasury secretaries Robert Rubin and Lloyd Bentsen.
