Developer Advocate, Android Security, Google
Jon Markoff is a Developer Advocate at Google focusing on Android Security. In his role, he helps developers secure their apps and software development lifecycle and talks about them at developer events including Droidcon. He is the creator and maintainer of Jetpack Security which helps developers encrypt data-at-rest properly and is part of the Android Open Source Project. Prior to Google, Markoff built software for large financial companies and was an embedded software engineer on the Presidential Helicopter at Lockheed Martin.
