Jon Knight

Jon Knight is a senior associate on Alston & Bird’s Privacy, Cyber & Data Strategy Team in the Washington, D.C. office. He focuses his practice on cybersecurity and privacy compliance and enforcement, as well as emerging technology issues. Knight has experience in responding to data breaches, defending data breach litigation, responding to government investigations following a data breach, privacy compliance, and technology-focused litigation. Knight is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) in both the U.S. and Europe and is also a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
