With over 27 years of experience in IT systems management and cybersecurity, John Taylor is the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Executive Director of Cybersecurity for Johns Hopkins University and Medicine. Since 2014, John has led a team of 45+ IT professionals, overseeing cybersecurity, systems management, and monitoring efforts across the organization. Prior to his current role, John served as Manager of Johns Hopkins University and Medicine Management and Monitoring Services for nearly a decade. During that time, he managed a team focused on ITIL-driven systems management and operational monitoring technologies focused on the Academic, Healthcare and Research missions of Johns Hopkins.
