John Four Flynn

Four is a deeply experienced Security leader with more than two decades working in the field. As an early member of Google’s Security team, he contributed to the detection of and response to the historic “Operation Aurora'' event. He was a cofounder of the project now known as BeyondCorp, an instrumental part of the “Zero Trust” movement in the security community. Four held roles at Facebook and Uber as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He was CISO at Amazon where he was responsible for security of Amazon's worldwide retail business. Currently Four is the VP of Security for Google Deepmind where he is working to solve some of the fundamental challenges in Security and Privacy in the AI field. Along the way he has been a startup advisor, holding roles at both GV and Section32.
