Joe Sullivan is the CEO of Ukraine Friends. He also advises and consults on security best practices. He spent 20 years working in executive roles at technology companies, most recently as the first Chief Security Officer at Cloudflare for 4.5 years. Before that he spent 2.5 years at Uber as their first CSO. Before that, Joe was the CSO at Facebook where he led their information security, product security, investigations, and law enforcement relationship teams for 6 years. Joe also spent 6 years at eBay and PayPal. Joe started his career with 8 years with the United States Department of Justice. He was a founding member of a unit dedicated to full prosecution of technology-related crimes. In 2016, President Obama appointed Joe a Commissioner on his cybersecurity commission.
