Jim Amsler

Jim Amsler (IAPP FIP, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT) is a Director for BDO Digital’s Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) practice, where he leads the Privacy Technology group. He has more than 25 years of professional experience focused on information lifecycle management, data protection, and information governance, helping clients meet regulatory and compliance mandates such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Prior to joining BDO in 2018, Amsler ran the presales organization for Geneva-based information governance platform. He also worked in IBM’s WebSphere organization, implementing messaging and service-based infrastructures for organizations, and worked for SAP as a developer on their CRM and Business Warehouse solutions.
