Jenny Menna

Jenny Menna oversees Sallie Mae’s cybersecurity functions, as well as physical security and business continuity and crisis management. She joined Sallie Mae in May 2023, bringing 25+ years of cybersecurity and IT experience in industry and government. Jenny previously served as the Deputy CISO for U.S. Bank and also held executive cyber roles at Humana. Jenny spent nine years at DHS, building and leading cyber programs as a member of the Senior Executive Service. Her responsibilities ranged from driving development and implementation of the NIST cybersecurity framework with industry to front-line operational and technical activities, including serving as US-CERT Director. Jenny currently serves on the FS-ISAC Board of Directors and is Chair of the Board’s Risk Management Committee.
