Bren Chair for Cyber Conflict and Security, Marine Corps University
JD Work has over two decades experience working in cyber intelligence and operations roles for the private sector and US government, building and leading organizations to provide new capabilities for emerging missions. He now serves as the Bren Chair for Cyber Conflict and Security at Marine Corps University, focused on developing the theory, practice, and operational art of cyberwar fighting. He continues to advance the tradecraft and literature of intelligence, publishing extensively on the dynamics of offensive and counter-cyber operations, and future intelligence problems. He holds additional affiliations with the Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies at Columbia University, and the Atlantic Council’s Cyber Statecraft Initiative.
