Jay Ball

Jay Ball is a senior developer and security professional with a wide gamut of experience in technology. At Zocdoc, he is the Head of Application Security responsible for securing the cloud and guiding engineers & architects in creating secure software. Previously, Jay worked for Aspect Security doing in-depth penetration tests and security architecture reviews of high-risk, complex systems for large institutions. Jay also protected EY’s systems as leader of the internal penetration testing team. He has taught security classes at all levels on three continents and makes open source contributions to the security community. Jay was a principal engineer for many stealth start-ups and holds CISSP CRISC GSNA certifications along with an MS in Computer Science from Western Michigan University.
