Jay Leek

Jay Leek is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of SYN Ventures and ClearSky Security. Jay was formerly the CISO to The Blackstone Group LP, where he also shared responsibility for managing Blackstone Innovations’ portfolio of Information Security investments. Prior to joining Blackstone in 2012, Jay led global information risk and security programs for Equifax and Nokia. Throughout the past 23+ years, Jay has worked as a Product Manager for Information Security vendors as well as a consultant to numerous telecom companies, government agencies, and financial institutions. Jay holds a BS from Capella University in Information Assurance and Security, and is a Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and Certified Information Systems Auditor.
