Jasper Pandza

Jasper Pandza is Standards Development Lead for Consumer IoT Security at the UK government’s Department for Digital (DCMS). He works alongside the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to develop and facilitate the implementation of strong cybersecurity practice for “smart” consumer products. In ETSI (the European Standards Organisation), Pandza is Editor of European Standard (EN) 303 645 / Technical Specification 103 645, the first globally applicable industry standard for connected consumer products. Pandza oversees the review of the UK’s Code of Practice for Consumer IoT Security. In May 2019, his team published proposals to make aspects of the code mandatory by law in the UK. Pandza holds a Ph.D. from King’s College London.
