Jared Ettinger
Cyber Intelligence Researcher, Carnegie Mellon University, Software Engineering Institute
Mr. Ettinger is a cyber researcher at the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute. Since joining the SEI in 2015, Mr. Ettinger has provided cyber intelligence and other intelligence-related emerging technical solutions and analytical best practices to industry, government, and academia. Mr. Ettinger is the Technical Lead for the ODNI-sponsored cyber intelligence report. As an Adjunct Instructor at Carnegie Mellon, he teaches a graduate course, Introduction to Cyber Intelligence. Mr. Ettinger spent 14 years supporting the government across operational and intelligence disciplines of cyber operations, human intelligence, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism. Mr. Ettinger seeks to apply machine learning and human-machine interaction to complex IC challenges.
