Jared Nussbaum

Jared Nussbaum is a Partner and CISO of Ares Management, a global alternative asset manager with approximately $484 Billion of assets under management as of 12/31/24. Responsible for global cybersecurity strategy and operations, he is a member of the Ares Enterprise Risk Committee and the Ares DEI Council. Prior to Ares, Jared was CISO at KKR, where he was active in deal-side advisory, as well as within the portfolio on matters of cybersecurity maturity and incident response. Jared was a Senior Director of Cybersecurity at global growth equity firm General Atlantic, where he was responsible for global cybersecurity operations, as well as supporting diligence efforts on technology related investments. He holds a Masters degree from Brown University in Cybersecurity.
