James Rivas

James Rivas is the Head of Global Corporate Communications at Check Point Software Technologies. Rivas oversees the communications function including worldwide public relations, industry analyst relations and customer marketing. He is committed to developing marketing communications strategies that positively impact Check Point Software, from the perspective of both brand visibility and revenue generation. He joined Check Point Software in 2011 from Oracle, where he was Director of Public Relations. Prior to Oracle, he held Corporate Communications management positions at multinational consulting firm Accenture, and pharmaceutical and bioinformatics company Pharmacopeia—Accelrys. He has also worked for Burson-Marsteller, a leading global public relations and communications firm.
