James Shreve
Partner and Cybersecurity Chair, Thompson Coburn LLP
James Shreve serves as a trusted advisor to clients facing complex cybersecurity and privacy issues — particularly those in the country's most highly regulated industries. He is the chair of Thompson Coburn's Cybersecurity practice, was named a Fellow of Information Privacy, and holds CIPP/US and CIPT certifications from the IAPP. Applying the law to rapidly changing technology and software capabilities, Jim works closely with executive leadership, legal, IT, IS, and compliance teams to develop a comprehensive and practical plan for risk identification and mitigation. He has assisted companies in handling thousands of security incidents. A thought leader and creative problem solver, he has presented on cybersecurity topics and been quoted by the media for over 20 years.
