James Hayes

James Hayes is Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy at EMC Corporation. EMC is a global leader in enabling businesses and service providers to transform their operations and deliver information technology as a service (ITaaS) and the world’s leading developer and provider of information infrastructure technology, with 2014 revenues of $24.4 billion. Prior to EMC, Hayes served as Director of Homeland Security for Motorola, Inc. He worked on the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations where he performed oversight and budget analysis, which included time as a Professional Staff Member on the Homeland Security Subcommittee. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Alaska and a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law.
