Jim Covington is a Chief Technologist for Booz Allen Hamilton with over 16 years of experience in data security and privacy. His areas of expertise include IP protection, cybersecurity program governance, policies and standards, education and awareness, regulatory compliance, and third-party vendor risk management. Covington’s experience includes leading the cybersecurity compliance program at a global technology company and providing cybersecurity services to a wide range of commercial clients, as well as the Department of Defense and U.S. government agencies. Covington has a master of arts degree and is a published author in peer-reviewed journals.
