Security Researcher, Datadog
Ian Kretz is a security researcher at Datadog who specializes in software supply chain security with a focus on detecting malware in open source package ecosystems. Before joining Datadog, he worked on cryptographic protocol design and verification and formal methods for security at the MITRE Corporation. He has previously presented papers at the Principles and Practice of Declarative Programming (PPDP) and High Confidence Software and Systems (HCSS) conferences. He has a Master's degree in Information Assurance from Northeastern University and lives in Paris.
