Herb Kelsey

Reporting to Dell's Global CTO, Herb Kelsey supports Dell’s federal customers and their interest in cyber security, Zero Trust, 5G, edge compute, AI and technology modernization. Additional duties as the lead for Dell's security strategy include supporting commercial customers as they adopt Zero Trust architectures and seeking to better secure hybrid cloud deployments, edge devices, AI systems, and their data. He has spent the last 30 years architecting, designing, engineering, managing, and selling global, large-scale information systems to and on behalf of commercial organizations and governments worldwide. Herb has had a diverse career and is honored to be a GE-trained engineer and manager, a successful software entrepreneur, an IBM-trained architect, IBM’s first Chief Technology Officer for Cyber Security, and the chief architect for a DoD mission support agency’s global mission portfolio.
