Heather Flanagan

Heather Flanagan wears a variety of hats in the standards development and identity management spaces. Her clients include the Digital Identification and Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC), an organization that focuses on helping that organization develop digital identity standards that suit the Canadian context; REFEDS, an organization developing federation identity best practices in academia and around the world; the Network Startup Resource Center; the Resource Access in the 21st Century initiative; and the Internet Society. She is heavily engaged in the standards development community, most notably as the RFC Series Editor where she manages the publication process for the IETF, IAB, IRTF and the independent submissions streams.
