Gregory Barnes

Greg Barnes is Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals with over 30 years of cybersecurity leadership experience. He previously served as CISO at Highmark, Amgen, and Horizon BCBS of New Jersey. Earlier in his career, Greg held leadership roles at Lucent Technologies, designing advanced networks and security programs for Fortune 500 companies, and began his career in the U.S. Air Force managing classified intelligence and cyber operations. He serves as Vice Chair of the Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center (H-ISAC) and chairs the HHS Cyber Working Group on Intellectual Property Protection. Greg holds a B.S. in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix and an M.S. in Information Assurance from Northeastern University.
