Glenn Gerstell is the General Counsel of the National Security Agency. Prior to joining NSA, he practiced for nearly 40 years at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, where he served as the Managing Partner of the firm’s Washington, DC, Singapore and Hong Kong offices. Earlier in his career, he was an Adjunct Law Professor at the Georgetown University School of Law and New York Law School. Gerstell has served on both the National Infrastructure Advisory Council and the DC Homeland Security Commission. A graduate of New York University and Columbia University School of Law, Gerstell is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and an elected member of the American Academy of Diplomacy.
