Geoff Hale

Senior Cybersecurity Advisor, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency

Geoff Hale is the Director of the Election Security Initiative, a Department of Homeland Security-led interagency body charged with coordinating federal support to the election infrastructure community. Hale is a certified information systems manager and experienced cyber-operations planner and has supported the Office of Cybersecurity and Communications since 2010. Prior to his service with the Election Task Force, Hale was the action officer for the department’s election infrastructure security mission within the Enterprise Performance Management Office. Hale is a graduate of the University of Virginia and earned his master’s degree in systems engineering from George Washington University.
