Gary Coverdale

While acting CISO for Mono County and advisor to other California counties, Gary currently serves on the Executive Committee for MS-ISAC (Multi State Information Sharing and Analysis Center) and Co-author of the CIS Cyber Hygiene Kit and the Nationwide Cyber Security Review and its 2015 integration to the NIST Cyber Security Framework. He is an appointed member of DHS’ Critical Infrastructure Protection Council in both the Cybersecurity and Communications sectors. Mr. Coverdale has authored many white papers including the Cyber Resource Compendium (on DHS Website), and the Security Best Practices Compendium, (based on NIST 800-53 and Cyber Security Framework).
