Floor Jansen

With a background as a social scientist, criminologist and cybersecurity specialist, Floor Jansen has a multidisciplinary view on cybercrime. She is a typical scientist on the job. She currently acts as team leader of the COPS team and deputy head of the National High Tech Crime Unit (NHTCU) of the Dutch Police. After having worked as a strategic advisor of this team for 8 years, she set up the Cyber Offender Prevention Squad (COPS) under the wings of NHTCU in 2020. This team develops interventions to prevent and disrupt perpetrators of cybercrime. In addition to several scientific publications, Floor works together with scientists on research into cybercrime and the effects of preventive and disruptive interventions on offenders.
